Nina Kirkvaag has experience primarily in commodities trading, risk management, financial business partnering, and management consulting. She began her career as a management consultant, focusing primarily on strategic projects in the Nordics. Subsequently, she joined Maersk Tankers, a global leader in tanker shipping, where she spent five years, most recently serving as Head of Risk. In this role, she was an integral part of the Finance and Risk Management Team.

Nina’s expertise includes quantitative analytics, valuation, and risk management, with experience in stress testing and mark-to-market calculations. She also has experience in middle-office operations and finance business partnering.

A strategic thinker, Nina excels at the intersection of finance, strategy, and analytics.

She is fluent in Norwegian, Danish, English, and French.

Nina holds an MSc in Mathematical Modelling and Computation from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). She has completed CFA Levels 1 and 2 and is currently pursuing Level 3.
