Maria is a finance professional with over 14 years of experience in the financial sector, specializing in Asset & Wealth Management. She has a strong track record in the design, development and operation of complex Private Equity and Private Credit funds, with deep expertise in business development, governance, and regulatory frameworks.

Before joining CMP, Maria served as Principal Development Consultant in Danske Bank Asset Management’s Illiquid Alternatives team, where she led the launch and structuring of multiple alternative investment products including operational process design, system integration, and end-to-end governance frameworks, compliance with SFDR (Articles 8 and 9), and onboarding of new instrument types.

Maria’s career spans senior roles across Danske Bank, Nykredit, BlackRock, and Jyske Bank, where she has built deep expertise in both institutional and retail distribution, product strategy, and MiFID-compliant governance. Her professional hallmark is her ability to combine strategic insight with executional excellence – delivering results in complex, cross-organizational project environments.

Maria holds a MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen and is an EFFAS Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA).
