Kåre Valgreen
Director
Kåre Valgreen has worked in the financial sector for more than two decades. He has seen the industry from many angles and worked both within asset management, fund administration, wealth management, the financial regulator and the central bank. Throughout his career he has been engaged in numerous regulatory projects including projects related to MiFID II, PRIIPs, UCITS and AIFMD.
Before joining CMP, Kåre has been the Director of Investments and savings at Finance Denmark, where he shaped the industry as spokesperson for and head of the devision investment and savings. In this capacity he engaged at both political and technical levels in Denmark and Brussels to shape financial regulation and he represented the Danish industry in the European associations and fora such as EFAMA and EBF. Kåre has been a key European stakeholder in shaping the Retail Investment Strategy negotiations in Brussels and represented Danish industry on the board of EFAMA.
Kåre thrive at all organizational levels, and he can engage projects at both operational and technical levels as well as strategic executive level.
He holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Copenhagen.
