Dennis Mikkelsen

Dennis Mikkelsen has more than a decade of experience in the Danish banking and capital markets sector.

Since initiating his career as a Business Consultant and Risk Analyst at Jyske Bank Group, his expertise has grown to cover risk management, regulatory implementation, and financial operations. He has managed internally developed models for stress testing and forecasting risk-weighted assets, including for EBA and Finanstilsynet exercises. His operational background includes post-trade processing, clearing and settlement, margin optimization, and reconciliations in a hedge fund environment. Additionally, his recent work focuses on CRR3 implementation, spanning legislative interpretation, data modelling, solution design, and the use of digital tools for compliance coordination.

Dennis combines a quantitative background with practical experience across risk, finance, operations, and IT. He navigates and works between the business and developers to align the understanding of business requirements with the technical implementation.

Dennis holds an MSc in Mathematics-Economics from Aarhus University.
