Capital Market Partners A/S has a board of directors consisting of two external and one internal members.

The board members are Bent Amsinck, Mads Smith Hansen, and Partner Christian Thygesen.

Bent Amsinck

Bent Amsinck has been the Managing Director of Ejendomsvirke A/S since 2000, and founded Blue & Green in 2007 which he also runs. The Group has a turnover of approx. DKK 120 million and employs 90 people spread over its locations in three countries.

Bent was born in 1964. He graduated as a Production Engineer from Danmarks Technical University and has a BSc in Human Ressouce Management from CBS Copenhagen.

Mads Smith Hansen

Mads Smith Hansen has a background from different areas within the financial sector. In 2016 he became Chief Risk Officer at ATP, and joined ATP’s Group Executive Board. Beforehand, he has worked in Sampension, most recently as CFO since 2010 and before as COO within the area of investments. Furthermore, Mads has been working for 12 years at Nordea in different areas including Life & Pensions, Treasury and Markets.

Mads was born in 1969 and holds an MSc in mathematics and statistics from the University of Copenhagen.

Torben H. Nielsen, Chairman Emeritus

Torben Nielsen has over 40 years of experience in the financial sector. Torben has been former Governor and member of the board of directors of the Danmarks Nationalbank (Danish Central Bank).

Torben is involved in a range of executive functions and boards, including Chairman at Sydbank A/S, Investeringsforeningen Sparinvest, BETRI bank p/f, and as Deputy Chairman in Tryg A/S and Tryg Forsikring A/S.

Furthermore, Torben is board member at Sampension KP Livsforsikring A/S, Sampension Administrationsselskab A/S, and DLR Kredit. In addition, Torben is board member of various cultural organizations, as well as Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School.

Torben served as Chairman of CMP’s board since its foundation and up until 2015, where he officially stepped down.  However, Torben still serves as an advisor to the board.

Torben was born 1947 and is educated in savings bank training, and has a BSc in Organisation, Work Pshycology, and Credit and Financing.
